Für den 32-jährigen Deutschen ist jedes Rennwochenende auf der italienischen Rennstrecke unweit der Adriaküste ein persönliches Highlight der Saison.

Marcel Schrötter kommt mit zwei vierten Plätzen aus Most zur nächsten Veranstaltung der FIM Supersport World Championship, die an diesem Wochenende auf dem Misano World Circuit in der berühmten Urlaubsregion um Rimini stattfindet. Im krassen Gegensatz zu Most in der Tschechischen Republik werden dieses Mal sehr heisse Bedingungen zu bewältigen sein.

Die WM-Runde der WorldSBK-Serie auf dem Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli ist bei Fahrern und Fans sehr beliebt. Jahr für Jahr ist die Veranstaltung sehr gut besucht, und im Fahrerlager herrscht eine tolle Atmosphäre, die auf die italienischen Wurzeln der Meisterschaft zurückzuführen ist.

Live-Übertragungen der Supersport-Rennen gibt es an diesem Wochenende wie gewohnt auf digitalen Plattformen wie dem Online-Portal des österreichischen Senders «ServusTV On», dem «Eurosport Player» und auf der offiziellen WorldSBK-Website geben, wo alle Sessions des Wochenendes live übertragen werden. «Aus meiner Sicht ist Misano immer ein kleines Highlight der Saison. Es ist eine Strecke, auf der ich sehr gerne fahre, und es ist auch ein Ort, an dem nicht nur ich gerne bin, sondern zu dem jeder gerne reist. Ausserdem hat Misano für mich immer ein besonderes Flair, weil man dieses Rennwochenende oft mit ein paar Tagen Urlaub in Italien verbindet. Mir gefällt es hier seit meiner Kindheit, weil ich hier viel Zeit mit meinen Eltern verbracht habe. Es ist also nur allzu verständlich, dass man sich immer wieder auf Misano freut.»

«Ich kenne die Rennstrecke sehr gut, ich bin hier schon viele Rennen gefahren. Ich denke, wir haben in Most ein solides Wochenende abgeliefert. Darauf müssen wir aufbauen, auch wenn abzuwarten bleibt, wie wir mit den Bedingungen zurechtkommen werden, denn in den nächsten Tagen soll es sehr heiss werden. Ich hoffe, dass das Team in den vier Wochen nach Most etwas gefunden oder einige Ideen hat, wie wir das Motorrad weiterentwickeln können. Es wird bestimmt kein Kinderspiel, aber ich bin bereit Misano anzupacken und freue mich auf das kommende Rennwochenende.»

It Is a track that I really enjoy riding there, and it is also a place that not only I like to visit, but that everyone likes to go to. In addition, Misano always has a special flair for me because you often associate this race weekend with a few days' vacation in Italy. I have liked it here since I was a child because I spent a lot of time here with my parents. So, it is all too understandable that you always look forward to Misano.»

«I know the circuit very well, I have raced many, many times there. Apart of that, I think we delivered a solid weekend in Most. We have to build on that now, even if it remains to be seen how we will cope with the conditions, because it is going to be very hot over the next few days. I hope that in the four weeks after Most the team found something or have some ideas on how we can further develop the bike. It will not be a piece of cake, of course, but I am ready to tackle Misano and looking forward to the upcoming race weekend.»
