Der «EURO MOTO»-Rookie fiebert dem zweiten Saisonmeeting an diesem Wochenende auf dem Automotodrom Brno im Südosten der Tschechischen Republik besonders entgegen.

Die wunderschöne Rennstrecke am Stadtrand von Brünn in der südmährischen Region ist die zweite Station im «EURO MOTO»-Kalender, in der am Saisonende der deutsche Meistertitel vergeben wird. Für Marcel Schrötter ist es gleichzeitig das zweite Rennwochenende mit der BMW M 1000 RR seines Teams GERT56 by RS Speedbikes aus Pirna.

Der 33-jährige Schrötter kennt den über 5,4 Kilometer langen Rundkurs auf dem Automotodrom Brno, grossartig eingebettet in die Konturen der hügeligen Landschaft, wie seine Westentasche und findet auch grossen Gefallen an dem meist flüssigen Streckenlayout.

«Ich freue mich gewaltig auf Brünn, denn für mich ist es die coolste und spannendste Rennstrecke im Kalender der «EURO MOTO». Brünn war und ist aktuell wieder als Grand-Prix-Strecke immer ein Klassiker im Rennsportjahr, egal in welcher Meisterschaft. Ich kenne Brünn seit sehr vielen Jahren, aber ich bin schon auf den neuen Belag gespannt, der die Strecke wieder auf Top-Niveau gebracht hat. Ausserdem ist das Layout der Strecke supercool und macht riesigen Spass. Also freue ich mich sehr darauf, an diesem Wochenende dort wieder Rennen zu fahren. Ich bin auch froh, dass es in der Meisterschaft wieder weitergeht, und hoffe, dass wir uns auf Basis der am Sachsenring gesammelten Informationen von Anfang an ein bisschen besser und schneller adaptieren können, damit wir im Qualifying besser als zuletzt abschneiden. Die ersten zwei Startreihen sind das Ziel. Wir wissen, dass die Jungs auf eine Runde alle sehr schnell sind, aber wir müssen uns eine bessere Ausgangsposition für die Rennen schaffen. In einem Rennen kann immer viel passieren, aber es sollte zumindest in den ersten Runden möglich sein, an der roten Maschine, die aktuell der Gradmesser ist, dranzubleiben. Daher ist es wichtig, ab dem ersten Training vorne mitzumischen. Vorerst freue ich mich auf mein Comeback in Brünn, dass es am Freitag losgeht und wir gute Arbeit leisten, damit wir uns ein Stück verbessern.»

The Rookie in «EURO MOTO» is particularly looking forward to the second meeting of the season this weekend at the Automotodrom Brno in the south-east of the Czech Republic.

The beautiful racetrack on the outskirts of Brno in the South Moravian region is the second stop on this year's «EURO MOTO» calendar, where the German championship title will be awarded at the end of the season. For Marcel Schrötter, it is also his second race weekend aboard the BMW M 1000 RR of his team, GERT56 by RS Speedbikes from Pirna.

The 33-year-old Schrötter knows the 5.4-kilometre-long circuit at the Automotodrom Brno, magnificently set into the hilly Landscape of the region, like the back of his hand and also finds great pleasure with the track's mostly fast and flwoing layout.

«I am hugely looking forward to Brno, as for me it is the coolest and most exciting circuit on the «EURO MOTO» calendar. Brno was and currently is, once again after the return of Grand Prix racing, a classic circuit in the racing year, regardless of the championship. I have known Brno for many years, but I am already curious about the new surface, which has brought the track back up to a top level. Furthermore, the layout of the track is super cool and is huge fun. So, I am very much looking forward to racing there again this weekend. I am also glad that the championship is continuing, and I hope that, based on the information gathered recently at the Sachsenring, we can adapt a bit better and faster Right from the start, so that we perform better in qualifying than we did last time. The first two rows of the grid are the goal. We know that the guys are all very fast over a single lap, but we need to create a better starting position for the races. A lot can always happen in a race, but it should at least be possible in the first few laps to stay with the red machine, which is currently the benchmark. Therefore, it is important to be in the mix at the front from the first practice session. For now, I am looking forward to my comeback in Brno, to getting started on Friday, and to us doing a good job so that we can improve a little.»
